Due to unprecedented success within the Wokingham based Pharmacovigilance Department there is an immediate need to recruit experienced Pharmacovigilance professionals to join the team. Duties

  • Routinely solve complex project management issues while overseeing the daily operations of global safety department.
  • Manage safety reporting compliance in a global environment.
  • Demonstrate broad expertise of clinical/medical knowledge, global safety reporting regulations, technical systems, and the competitive environment.
  • Able to work independently and brings issues to the attention of management as appropriate.
  • Responsible for metrics, particularly related to safety reporting, and reports to senior management.
  • Work effectively with, and/or lead, a cross-functional, multi-cultural team towards resolving product safety issues.
  • Work with senior management to ensure that implemented processes are being used appropriately to meet compliance and department goals.
  • Knowledgeable about technical issues in own area, of other related areas, and how they interact (Arisg)
  • Maintain perspective on how group's outcomes affect and are affected by other work groups.

Qualifications/knowledge required

  • BSc Degree (or higher) in a scientific field, or Qualification / experience in a related Healthcare Profession
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant pharmacovigilance experience
  • Able to demonstrate managerial skills, with details of previous managerial roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
