Building Confidence
A comprehensive 6 Step Programme aimed at increasing self-acceptance, self-belief and self-achievement through increased self-confidence. The programme is designed to take place over 3-6 months depending upon individual requirements to ensure that experiential learning and the opportunity to change life-long inhibiting beliefs and behaviours can take place. The Coach is a facilitator and not a director. Throughout the process, the individual leads the priorities and is given tasks, gently nudged and encouraged towards their desired goal.
Objectives
For the individual or team to:
- establish what self-image and self-limiting beliefs currently exist, where they have originated from and what have been the consequences.
- be familiar with the ABCDE Model in order to realistically adapt thinking errors for more positive realistic results.
- use practical methods to gain the confidence of self-acceptance, the courage to pursue realistically challenging goals and manage being outside the comfort zone.
Who would benefit?
This programme has been designed with the individual in mind. However, it can be adapted to facilitate Groups with the agreement of all attendees to individual confidentiality and a supportive team approach.
Structure
Individual: Half day sessions over 3 - 6 months.
Team: 1 Day per Month over 3 months.
Fees
Individual: 6 Sessions over 3 - 6 months ranging from £3,500 to £5,000 plus VAT.
Team: Ranging from £3,825 to £5,000 plus VAT for a 3 month Programme.

Month 1
Commitment; Understanding our Beliefs; Adapting our Ways of Thinking.
- The importance of making a commitment to themselves to increase their self-confidence.
- Exploration of current beliefs, where they came from.
- The impact these beliefs have had and still have on the way we live.
- Target problem(s) individually or in Work Groups to clarify the impact that fear and a lack of confidence can have on us.
- Introduction of the ABCDE Model in cognitive-behavioural coaching to adapt ways of thinking.
- Individually or in Work Groups – the ABCDE model is applied to find solutions to the target problem(s).
Tasks are set to be completed before next session.
Month 2
Identifying and Setting Goals; Self Management.
- Review of completed tasks.
- Defining a SMART Goal.
- Practical methods to setting Goals and overcoming Fear.
- Setting a 3-month SMART Goal that demonstrates increased confidence.
- Overcoming obstacles that might prevent achievement including:
- Procrastination
- Time Management
- Frustration
- Self Belief.
- The importance of building a support network.
Tasks set to be completed before next session.
Month 3
Practical Methods to Maintain Momentum; Coping outside the Comfort Zone.
- Review of completed tasks.
- Introduction to affirmations and the 3 P's technique.
- Introducing Self Acceptance.
- Introducing Practical Methods to maintain confidence including Visualisation, Imagery, Drawing, Relaxation, Stability Zones.
- 6 Tips for stepping outside the Comfort Zone.
- Agreement to ongoing personal commitment.
